brokenmemories | ninth memory [action for violet city/video]

[Misaki wasn't the kind to cry in public but when she does, she usually hides somewhere, like around the trees behind Violet Gym. Unlike some of the people she heard from, she stayed in Violet City and planned to stay there until she was able to defeat Falkner. However, something was left behind from the 4th wall event days ago. She didn't know what but something terrified Madoka to the point it was trying to avoid its trainer. Usually, it would stick by Misaki's side and put up with her verbal insults, even after it became a Tranquill.]

[Now, whenever Misaki takes it out of its ball, Madoka just flies far away, seemingly never coming back. Being a Tranquill, however, it eventually comes back. Doesn't mean she can't be hurt by it. Especially Madoka's departure reminds her of another Madoka's leaving...]

[Now Misaki had to head to work, as much as she didn't want to but hey, at least it means more money, right?] She'll be back...She always comes back...

[Misaki is dressed in her work uniform, ready to work at the pokemart once again. Instead of Madoka usually appearing, Tamamo, whose tail(s) finally appeared how they were supposed to be, and Wani, who is now a Croconaw, were shown. Despite typing differences, they seemed to be getting along. By getting along, she meant Wani not trying to bite her or her tails. Maybe he grew out of that trait when it evolved?

The young woman, on the other hand, looked awfully pissed. Embarassed even. She was watching the two 'bonding' with each other with tired eyes until she faced the camera.] Anyone see a Tranquill out there? Madoka and I had some kind of fallout and I don't know what the hell happened. [She took a deep breath.] Now she's flying around, only coming back when its nightfall. Does anyone know how to...well, fix this cause it's getting quite annoying.

Let me know if you know how to talk to pokemon or something. I'll be at work.

Yeah. Just call her over to the gear.

[He glances off to the side to mentally call one of his Pokémon over to be his translator, then remembers that he has a Psychic-type with him after the weekend. Somehow. He silently calls it over. This should work better than usual, since he'll get actual words this way.]

Um, about that--

[Misaki was cut short when she glanced off to the side. She made some kind of motion, along with a few phrases. After a while, a nervous looking Tranquill was seen glancing at the video feed. Misaki was nearby, keeping her distance from the bird, not wanting to frighten her into running off again.]

--Here she is.

[A Solrock floats by in the background. A few seconds later it floats by again. Seems that it's going to circle Apollo while it translates.

Apollo smiles at the Tranquill.]

Hi. The human with you wants to know what happened that made you not want to be near her. If you tell me what's wrong I'll be able to tell her for you.

[Madoka was startled at the sound of Apollo's voice. While it gained some confidence upon its evolution, it was still the timid bird it was as a it was as a pidove. After a few seconds, it seemed to remain a calm composure even though she wasn't exactly looking at the man.]

Um, hello... [She started off. She looked nervously towards Misaki before looking back at the camera. Misaki noticed this and wondered what was that stare for.] D-Do you mean her? Something happened a few nights ago during our nightly walk. Usually she looked fine but....I just saw something strange that night.

[The bird could be slightly trembling.] Misaki's face...didn't look like her that night. It just looked...not human, like something replaced her. I'm afraid its still there..

[Having a Psychic-type on his end definitely makes this much easier than the last time that he'd tried this. Especially considering how strange and confusing this conversation was starting off.]

She says that a few nights ago while you were walking at night, your face looked like something that wasn't human, like something had replaced you. She's afraid that it might still be with you.

[He's watching Misaki's reaction closely. Was she someone dangerous? He might need to figure out how to rescue her Pokémon from her.]

[Misaki felt her heart skip a beat when she heard Madoka mentioned about her face. Sure, she had to leave her 6th sense behind but that was still happening? No, it must be a joke. She got "better" after that night so she shouldn't be sick any more right?]

That's...absurd. [She hesitated. She was trying to be careful with her words as she didn't want to reveal anything too personal. She took a brief pause before continuing to speak.]

Did she say what she saw exactly?

No. [He turns back to Madoka.] Could you tell us exactly what you saw?

[The bird squawked when she saw attention turn to her once again. It took a while for the bird to come up what to say as what she saw...wasn't exactly describable. ]

It was late night when it happened so it wasn't very clear.. I...don't know how to describe it.. it was like...she had no face. Her face was all...messed up.

[If they were talking in person he could get that image from her mind, but it wouldn't make it any easier for him to explain.]

She says that she couldn't see it very well in the dark and she isn't sure how to describe it, but your face was messed up so much that it was like you had no face.

[Upon hearing that, Misaki knew exactly what the Tranquill saw and....didn't know what to say really. She didn't even know how to feel honestly. She wanted to stay calm but a mixed variety of emotions was stirring up inside of her that was hard to ignore. She tried to keep a calm face but her eyes say otherwise.]

O-Oh...I see.. [That was all she could come up with. She didn't really have anything else to say really.]

[Apollo isn't good at reading subtle details like that with humans. None of this makes any sense to him.]

Do you know what she means?

[She looked to the side, not wanting to explain everything because to be honest, it's kind of complicated. Shouldn't keep it from someone who's trying to help you with your pokemon though.]

It's kind of..complicated, but yeah.

What she saw isn't supposed to occur anymore. At least. not here. I don't know how or why but during that weird weekend weeks ago, this place let that happen or something.

Is it something dangerous?

It's fatal. Many people I've known in my childhood died from it and most of my friends recently died from it as well.

It didn't do anything to me here except freak people out.
