[A Pidove is seen wrapped in a thin, white shirt as it calmly sits in its lap, taking a nap. Her black dress was still quite uncomfortable to wear since it wasn't really dried off properly, so she managed to change into her other outfit when she came into the center. Only missing piece from the outfit was the black trench coat as Misaki hated wearing coats or even long sleeved sweaters, to be honest. She was wearing the black glasses that came with the outfit, presumably to hide her eyes from something.]

...I didn't expect the town to be actually this small. It's a lot quieter than where I came from. [Misaki tilt her head back a bit, trying to remember what other thoughts came to mind when she first entered the town. She was still a forgetful person, even after all the shenanigans during the previous year.]] I actually like it, to be honest. What's left of people here seem to be nicer than the kinds of people I've met...but then again, we all lived in the big city.

I think we're allowed to stay here for the night, am I correct? Walking in heels for days does get quite painful. [[Now, who's smart idea was that?]]

Plus, Madoka could use some rest...she's had a big day.. [Misaki tries to talk as soft as she could, not wanting anyone to hear her. Of course she could've kept it to herself but she figured no one would pay attention.]

You can stay at the Pokémon Center, but there's also the inns you can stay at. They cost a bit, but they have better beds.

Better beds, huh? How much for a stay?

Do you also know if there's anything to eat around here? I don't think I can survive too long on.. [Misaki ponders for a bit, trying to come up with the name.]...trail mix, I think its called?

It depends on the towns. The one in Cherrygrove is P200. After that they get a bit pricier... but it's really worth it.

[Especially after sleeping on the ground.]

You can get food at the inn, but all the tows also have normal restaurants and diners.

[200 didn't seemed so much...at first.]

Not too bad, I guess. How much for the food around here? Do you have any recommendations?

The prices are good enough. [He shrugs, since the food subject isn't too interesting for him.] The soups are pretty good.

I think I'd rather stay here for the night and get something to eat just to be safe on prices. Thanks for the tip, though.

I managed to survive almost a week with the starting money when I was in Cherrygrove, so it's not that bad. [He shrugs.] Though the Center is a good resting place, compared to staying outside.

I could see that happening but I have some...habits I'm not too proud of. [Tsk, tsk, being a shopaholic is never good thing.]

Well, you can always go to work or battle other trainers to get more money... but I wouldn't stay in Cherrygrove too long. It's not really the most attractive town here.

I know what you mean--about the size, I mean. It's a lot smaller then my village was.

[Talking to people will forever be a little awkward for her] Um, your bird is really cute! I haven't seen one like that before here...

At least there's someone who understands where I'm coming. [brief pause] May I ask for your name?

And if Madoka was paying any attention, I think she would appreciate your compliment. [Misaki secretly appreciates it too.] Do you also have some sort of partner with you?

It's Mio. Amakura Mio.

I... have one. [She's a little hesitant before she moves her dex to show her sableye, the razor-sharp teeth and large jewel-eyes. He's a little unsettling, but Mio pats him on the head and he nuzzles against it]

This is Yami. I have a mareep too, named Mary. She's like a big sheep that charges electricity.

[Amakura? Why does that sound familiar? She would question it even more until she saw the girl's sableye.

Seeing the sableye sends shivers that her back and made her flinch at the sight. It seemed rather rude so she tried to keep her cool composition.]

That's a rather....interesting creature.. [Damn, it was hard hiding her feelings this time. Just the jewel-eyes...the freaking jewel-eyes, man.]

Are they easy to handle?

[There's a small smile] It's okay--he really creeped me out too at first. But he's sweet, even if he looks scary.

I can't speak for all of them, but he's been pretty easy. He likes to play in the dirt and dig holes, and he clings to my skirt when I walk, but I haven't had any big problems with him.

What about, um... Madoka, was it?

[Misaki was the type to judge something by appearance but she'll trust Mio's word on it.

When Mio asked about how handling Madoka was, she felt her back tensing up a bit.]

Madoka's...Madoka.. [She cleared her throat, forgetting for a moment that she was talking about the actual person, not the pidove.] --I mean, she could be bit of hassle, especially when she's out of her ball...but she's a sweetheart. [She was faking a smile.]

[Mio was quiet a moment, worried she'd done something to upset her] Ah-- That's good. She looks really sweet.

[She pauses, hesitating] Um...Are you okay? I didn't say something wrong, did I...?

[Misaki's fake smile instantly turned into an embarrassed frown when she heard those words, feeling like she let herself be exposed.] N-No, I was just having an idiot moment... Just mixing up names with someone else..

Where are you at the moment, if I may ask? [Somebody was trying to change the subject.]

Oh... [Seems plausible enough, though something about it bothers her still.

Misaki used CHANGE SUBJECT!

It's VERY EFFECTIVE!] I'm in Violet City. It's a bit bigger then the other towns so far, and has some ruins and things to look at. And there's a gym! I'm still trying to get my badge...

Well, what a coincidence! [It wasn't sure if it was actual surprise or sarcasm.] I'm actually heading to that city, though it seems to be taking a while. just to get there.

[Wearing heels aren't exactly going to make those long distance travel any easier either, Misaki.]

A gym? [Misaki's kinda still a newbie here, sorry.] I've heard mentions of gyms and badges but I never understood...well, what they were. Do you mind explaining?

Maybe we'll meet up! Spencer and I'll probably be around for a while longer. I think he's still doing research on things, so who knows how long that'll take...

[Oh, right, duh. She's new!] Gyms are where a really strong trainer is. If you beat them, you get a badge. I don't know what the badge does exactly, but apparently you need it to get some places or to use special training things. Also it's something to collect. You don't have to collect badges, but...Well, it gives me something to do.

...Oh, I don't think I ever got your name...?

Maybe. I mean, its better than being on my own in this big world.. [Misaki looks down at the pidove in her lap.] Well, technically not on my own but I think you know what I mean.

[Oh, how could Misaki be so rude not to probably introduce herself.]

O-Oh, I'm sorry. My name's Asou Misaki.

[She starts in surprise] Asou? Why does that sound so familiar... Have we met before?

[She shrugs.] I don't believe so. I would've probably recognized you or your name if we did. [But then again, Misaki's memory sucked big time.]

Maybe you've met some of my relatives? They're all over Japan from what I know of.

I think my dad's last name was Asou before he married mom... So does that make us... something like cousins?

[This is kind of exciting, she's never met others of her family before!]

[Misaki's eyes lit up. This is the first time she's heard of other family members who weren't dead in quite a while.]

I wouldn't say cousins but we would be related in some way. But then again, it might be coincidence having the same surname.

Do you remember what his name was?

[She's quiet a moment, having to think about it a moment. It's been a long time since she's had to think of her father.] Misao. His name was Misao Asou.

[She's seen it scribbled on the back of photos enough times.]

That name... [It seems familiar but again, Misaki's memory sucks. There was at least some recognition for the name however.] I may have known him before his disappearance but that was quite some time ago.

[Then something confusing came to her.] How old did you say you were?

I turned 15 not too long ago. [She looks a little confused herself] You don't look that much older than me.

--Oh! [She starts a little, remembering] Sometimes, people come from different times here. Spencer's from the year 2000-something, and there are some people from even further, or even way before. It's still really confusing, though...

Well, that makes much more sense...kind of.

[She starts remembering a little.] ....Now that I think about it, I think I've seen your face one time. But you were only a little girl at the time and wasn't there someone usually with you?

[This isn't going to be good.]

[Mio freezes and hesitates] My... my twin sister. [There's an uncomfortable pause and she finished with a rough tone] She's-- gone.

[Being part of the Asou family, she didn't have to ask what Mio meant by 'gone'. She knew strange stuff happened to various members of the family and has grown insensitive to it but hearing about Mio's sister...it left a sense of pity inside of her.]

..I'm sorry... [Those were the only words that could come out of her mouth. ]

I'll be okay. Spencer's helping me. She nods lightly as if to confirm it with herself.]

...I mean, I'm not...really okay, I guess, but maybe one day-- [She doesn't know how to explain.]

Anyway. I didn't think I'd ever meet another relative again, so this isn't so bad.

I kind of understand what you mean.. [Even after a year, she's still not totally over Madoka's passing.

She flashes a small smile before returning back to her normal composure.] It's always nice meeting other relatives.

When you get to Violet, you have to let me know. We can meet up, and I can introduce you to Spencer and we can talk more. Does that sound good?

Alright then. I'd love to see you two in person.
